The goal of chiropractic care is to restore normal function to areas of the spine that have been misaligned, called subluxations. When a subluxation exists it interferes with the regular feedback into your brain that interferes with your nervous system functioning properly. When a subluxation is corrected, it allows your body to function optimally and reach your greatest potential.

Using several different chiropractic modalities, we curate a plan that fits your lifestyle.
Although many people seek chiropractic care for aches and pains, they continue chiropractic care for the health benefits. When patients are regularly adjusted they report feeling better overall, less anxiety, feeling happier, more flexible, less pain, better sleep, better ability to handle stress, better digestion, better concentration, and better posture. Chiropractors understand the body is innately designed to be self-healing and self-regulating. The brain, spinal cord (house in the spine), and nerves regulate the functions of the body. When there is interference with the normal function via misalignment of the vertebrae the body cannot function optimally. Health does not come from a lotion, a potion, or a pill. Health comes from the vital life force within each and every one of us. By removing the interference we allow the body’s innate wisdom to do what it does best- keep you healthy!
We are located near Arapahoe and I-25 making the office accessible from around the Denver Metro Area. We on the first floor making our office accessible for your needs. From the first time you step into the office Dr. Mindy and staff will make you feel comfortable. We want to make sure our office is a good fit for you!
Your initial visit includes a thorough case history and chiropractic examination. Dr. Mindy will determine if you are a good candidate for candidate for care. Next, for the Atlas Orthogonal Technique, Dr. Mindy will take specific upper cervical x-rays. If you already have x-rays from another practitioner, please bring those with you on the first visit. They will provide some information, however, will not take the place of the upper cervical x-rays that are required prior to the first adjustment.
Prenatal patients are never x-rayed in the office. X-rays may be taken on pediatric patients on a case-by-case basis depending on age and severity of symptoms if necessary.
Following your x-rays, you will rest while Dr. Mindy reads the films. Typically, you will be adjusted on your first visit.
Immediately following your first adjustment it is recommended to rest for a few hours while it settles in. After about four hours you can go back to regular activities. Many people notice feeling like a weight has been lifted, decreased tension or increased range of motion. When we align your spine your biomechanics will begin to work differently especially if you have had tight, guarded muscles for long periods of time. As a result, you may experience muscle soreness in areas of the body while you are adapting to the correct alignment. This is normal and will go away. Some people may experience mild headaches or other sensations that are temporary. Some people don’t notice much of anything after the first visit. Like all health, every body is different so the initial response varies. It takes time to restore your alignment. The amount of time it takes to heal depends on your medical history, age, lifestyle and body’s response. We will put together a care plan that best suits your needs and work hand in hand to meet your health goals.
